Biography

I am a pediatric psychologist with the Integrated Behavioral Health team, and I am excited to help support children and their families with behavioral and emotional health needs. I received my doctorate from the University of Iowa in 2017, and completed my internship and postdoctorate training at the Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in their inpatient and outpatient clinics serving children with severe neurodevelopmental disabilities.

I work with children and adolescents struggling with behavioral and emotional difficulties, such as behavioral outbursts, noncompliance, anxiety and depression, and I also specialize in working with young children with autism, ADHD and other developmental disabilities. Utilizing evidence-based behavioral principles and cognitive behavioral therapy, I strive to provide children and their families with practical, individualized recommendations and treatment plans to help encourage lasting behavioral change, as well as help families access resources that can best support them. In my spare time, I can be found spending time with my family, making a mess of my kitchen cooking unnecessarily elaborate meals, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
