Biography

Jess grew up in Arden Hills, Minnesota. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing with a minor in human development and family sciences from North Dakota State University in 2015. After graduating, she worked as an inpatient pediatric registered nurse for nine years primarily at Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. Jess earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree in Pediatric Primary Care and a certificate in disability and policy services from the University of Minnesota in 2024.

In 2024, Jess joined Children’s Minnesota to further her passion of improving the health of the pediatric population. Her goal is to partner with children and their families to provide comprehensive care to children of all ages. Jess’s special clinical interests include adolescent health care, birth control counseling, and anemia management. Jess lives in Maple Grove with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, traveling, and spending time with her family.
